Russell Brand is to launch a new self-help book focussing on recovery from addiction on September 21, 2017, at St James’s Church, Picadilly, London, UK.

Despite being aimed at addicts, the book is intended to be useful for those seeking to gain freedom from all manner of addictions and negative life trajectories, much like Colossal Insights.

The company launching the event, Alternatives, said of Brand’s new book:

“Recovery is a self-help book for everyone that will change your life.

“Offering a definitive guide to addiction from someone who has struggled with heroin, alcohol, sex, fame, food and staring at their phone, as if the answer is going to come from there… This important new book will help anyone who is an addict (or loves an addict) move towards recovery.”

The key questions Recovery seeks to address are: ‘What pain is your addiction masking?’ ‘Why are you running―into the wrong job, the wrong life, the wrong relationship?’ and ‘When are you going to recover the person you were born to be?’

Within the book, Brand explores how the process of staying clean and ‘connected’ is a daily process.

As well as sharing the practical toolkit Brand uses himself, he also offers a recovery plan to anyone who believes their life could be better.

Russell Brand has also recently teamed up with therapist Mark Dempster and Kiss FM founder Tosca Jackson to create a new addiction recovery-based radio show.
